MMANEWSLEAK Exclusive:

Before we talk about MC Hammer as a manager, I’ll give you a quick recap of MC Hammer career moves, just in case your under 18 or have lived under a rock in the past 15 years.

MC Hammer aka Hammer aka Stanley Burrell aka MMA’s newest super manager was a dancer and rapper in the 80’s and 90’s. During that time he was known for his bubble gum rap, with such hits like “U Can’t Touch This”, “Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ’em”, “Have You Seen Her?” and his foray into gangsta rap “Pumps and a Bump.”

MC Hammer keeps trying to change himself into something new at every turn.  First he was the non-confrontational rapper/dancer that the mainstream would love.  Then when the audiences moved away from Pop Rap,  Hammer (he dropped the MC to fool folks in thinking he’s hard) hooked up with Tupac (Yea, if you haven’t heard Tupac produced his Gangsta rap album) and Death Row Records. While with the Death Row crew he was hanging out with real “Gangstas” trying to be more than he really was.

Then somewhere between bubble gum rap and hard core gangbanger, Stanley lost his millions, in fact he went $13 Million dollars in debt.  The debt was due to dwindling album sales and stupidity. Yea, I said what everyone else wouldn’t. Stanley let his friends help make business decisions, hired on everyone he knew and everyone’s brother.  His annual payroll was estimated at $6.8 Million.  At one point he even bought a stable of racehorses and in the bankruptcy lost the stable. In the dictionary, next to ”stupid” is Stanley Burrell’s smiling picture.

Since his financial collapse, Stanley has done anything and everything to make money and stay in the limelight; including becoming a minster and using his music to get the word of God out.  Around this time Christian music was becoming very popular and why shouldn’t Stanley cash in?  He even made an appearance on the final resting place for a celebrity’s career known as VH1’s “The Surreal Life”.

This has gotten us caught up(ish).  Now Stanley has turned himself into King Hammer. King Hammer is now in the MMA management business calling it “Alchemist Management”. As Alchemist Mgt. he now has access to fighters and their money.  This is like Tiger Woods offering marital advice, but back to Hammer, this is the worst move anyone could make, trusting Hammer with their money but worse than that King Hammer, MC Hammer, or Stanley has decided to rap again.

In this video Hammer takes a shot at Jay-Z, and other rappers; once again he tries to show off how hard he is by using someone else’s toughness and strength. In the video Stanley shows off some of his MMA fighter in his “stable” and his own “skills” shadow boxing. (Hey Stanley, LL Cool J shadowboxed in the ‘90’s)

This is the opposite of what MMA needs, this is what will hurt MMA and not help it in the public’s eyes. I’m sure Hammer or Stanley does care as long as there is money to be made and fame to be had.
