The UFC announced 10 fights for UFC 125, including the addition of a bout for the new UFC Featherweight Championship.
Current WEC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo will face Josh Grispi for the newly created UFC Featherweight Championship title and will be the co-main event of the event which currently features Frankie Edgar defending his UFC Lightweight title against top contender Gray Maynard.
Other fights finalized on the card are:
Takanori Gomi vs. Clay Guida
Nate Diaz vs. Dong Hyun Kim
Chris Leban vs. Brian Stann
Brandon Vera vs. Thiago Silva
Marcus Davis vs. Jeremy Stephens
Mike Thomas Brown vs. Diego Nunes
Daniel Roberts vs. Greg Soto
Antonio McKee vs. Jacob Volkmann
rumored but not confirmed: Phil Barone vs. Brad Tavares
UFC 125 will be held on January 1, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
